Single malt whisky testing: 2
After being for a walk along Hove seafront in the tail end of Eunice, we came home feeling exhilarated and cold. Which seemed like a perfect time to try our next whisky. This was a 10 year aged Glencadam. According to the tasting notes:
Its nose is
Grassy freshness + citrus tones with hints of spicy oak
Its palate is
Clean, crisp citrus tones. A harmony between natural sweetness and soft spicy oak.
And its finish is
Long and soothing
It got a thumbs up from both of us and is fighting with the Mackmyra for the top spot. (We have left a small amount in each bottle for a final comparison when we get there.)
