I came upon this book via BrainPickings - I’ve come across many of the children’s books I’ve read via BrainPickings in fact.

This is beautifully illustrated. And the poem that is being illustrated is beautiful as well. It speaks of love, and belonging. But it seems to speak of belonging to one place only, and I find that a challenging concept. We may have to leave places behind. People will leave us behind. I feel we need to grow up knowing that we belong to something bigger, wider, more everlasting, maybe nature itself.
