Book review: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
Rating: 4 out of 5
I read this for the first time about 25 years ago on holiday in Spain and certain aspects had stayed with me. I’d forgotten just how impressive the characters are, how influenced my opinion of them is by the excellent way they are written. I’d also forgotten the way that the tale is told. Good to reread.
Highlighted passage:
that idea would bother me: it was so tiresomely pertinacious
