Book review: Women's Work: The First 20,000 Years: Women, Cloth, and Society in Early Times by Elizabeth Wayland Barber
Rating: 5 out of 5
Excellent book. A fascinating exploration of women and their role in society in early times. Of special interest to those interested in textiles, spinning and weaving. Nicely put together, well referenced and written in a not-too-academic style.
