Wildlife on the wall
We spotted this wonderful street art as we walked around Brighton today. This whole mural is fantastic, but the details are what sets it apart. I was particularly enamoured of the side with the tree and the flowers. It’s in the kind of colour palette I love, with the beautiful blue tones. But what really caught my eye were the plants beneath the tree, especially the tiny bees and ladybirds busy around the stalks.
Richard, meanwhile, was completely taken by the frog. In real life, the painting of the frog is so good that it looks three-dimensional. Richard had to inspect it up close to check it was actually painted. Sadly, the photo doesn’t really do it justice in that regard.
A lovely find on a grey day!
