I had tears rolling down my face as I read the last section of this. Skyler is a deep, troubled character who is lovingly and engagingly written. The people who care for her play realistic feeling supporting rolls. And I ended the book wanting to give them all a big hug.

This was free via BookBub. And I chose it because out of a lot of other free via BookBub books it had an interesting sounding summary without being too hard work to read (I’m on holiday)
