Yesterday, Richard led us on a different walk from Stanmer Lower Lodges car park. One that, despite having walked in the area for the past 15 years, we hadn’t done before. It finally told us where the shooting sounds we’d heard on previous walks in the area originated - we walked through the Polowood shouting ground car park.

Today, we headed off on a Fancy Free walk in Cowden. It was a beautiful day for a walk, and it was a beautiful walk for the day. Shame about a couple of sections across a golf course but we avoided low-flying golf balls so no harm was done.
