Having seen an exhibition of Vivian Maier’s work last year I was really taken with her sad story - all of these amazing photographs unknown and unrecognised until after her death. The exhibition could only show a sample of her photographs and whilst this book just touches the surface of the over 100,000 images she created it does include several I hadn’t already seen.

The book is well put together, and the photos are reproduced in a high quality manner, making this a beautiful book to look through - be warned though, her subject matter at times is a bit hard on the eyes
