Book review: Violeta by Isabel Allende
Rating: 4 out of 5
A novel spanning a century all seen through one pair of eyes told from the perspective of the 100 year old. It follows her life from birth towards death starting with the Spanish flu pandemic and ending with the Coronavirus pandemic. A good set of book ends. A life lived with high and low points with changes and similarities throughout.
I enjoyed reading it and thought of Violeta often while notionally doing other things
