Our niece bought us a voucher for a trip to the wind farm as a Christmas present. So off we went with the excellent Captain Paul at Brighton Diver. We sailed close to a few turbines and the power station, and Paul gave us lots of information about them - how they were built, how big and heavy they are, how much power they generate. There wasn’t a huge amount of wind today, so there wasn’t a lot of sound, but they were all turning. The fog made it all the more atmospheric, if, perhaps, less photogenic.
