We took the opportunity of a nothing-much-planned Saturday to head off for a walk a little further afield, so we went to Bewl Water in Kent. Beautiful tranquil views. Up to the ankles mud. Our walk also took us through some evergreen woodland. This season I’ve enjoyed the spirit-lifting properties of being among evergreen trees.
