Bridlington was a favourite place of my mum’s, so we often visit when we’re in the area. It didn’t quite soothe my soul today, though, so we headed off in search of more dog-friendly beaches where Breezy could get her paws on the sand.

We settled on Hunmanby Gap. We arrived around high tide, so there wasn’t a lot of beach to explore, but what was there hit the spot for all of us.
