We are back in Sussex and had a lovely time catching up with friends and walking up Wolstonbury Hill from Pyecombe. Pyecombe is a place I frequently drive past but have never stopped at before. Once we walked up the footpath for a short while, the sound of the A23 faded away and we got to enjoy the sound of skylarks and the sight of birds of prey circling above us. A great reminder of how beautiful Sussex is and how fortunate I am to have the South Downs on my doorstep.

Given how close it is to home, I can imagine us revisiting this as an after-work summer evening walk.
