After a week of upheaval at home, on which more in a later post, while the heat pump was fitted, we spent the weekend getting ourselves back to some semblance of normality. Additional sorting out of stuff resulted in the need for a tip run. As we drove to the Brighton recycling site, we were surprised to see snow still clinging to the hills.

We had already decided to stay local, but this confirmed our choice. When we got to Wild Park, we were delighted to find snowy areas and enjoyed watching families with their sledges on “ski slope” hill. As we walked through the wooded areas, we were captivated by the way the snow formed spiky patterns on leaves and fallen trees. It was utterly beautiful.
