We had to leave Keldy today and head to our next accommodation. As we were driving past York, we planned to visit a friend for lunch. That set the route, and along the way we’d originally planned to stop at Castle Howard for a walk. But as we approached, we saw a sign for The Yorkshire Arboretum and decided to visit that instead.

It was perfect for the hour or so we had. A lovely space, well maintained, and it has some red squirrels!
