Quarry Bank Mill, with its chimney, seen across the grounds

Another transfer day, this time from Delamere Forest to Clitheroe, demanded a check on the National Trust map for dog friendly places with car chargers. Quarry Bank was on the list and in the right direction.

What a great place.

Happy days.

We explored the woodland and garden and had a great visit. It was really easy to spend a couple of hours here, and we didn’t go into any of the buildings (other than the greenhouses) this time. I’d happily return and spend another few hours wandering around.

As is often the case, I really enjoyed walking around the brick and wood greenhouses. There is always something calming about a solid greenhouse.
