We ended up doing a different walk than planned, but it was a great swap! Our initial car park choice was totally full. Since we’re driving a huge hire car right now (definitely not our little Fiat 500e that could usually squeeze in!), there was no chance of parking. Luckily, we had already spotted this alternative walk in our book of walks, so we simply changed our plan for the day.

It turned out to be a gorgeous day to be outside: blue skies and a bright frost on the ground.

And what a treat, we found a beautiful bank of early daffodils! Seeing them already blooming was a wonderful, bright moment.
