It’s been a while since we did a new Fancy Free walk, but today we did just that, visiting Climping Beach.

We checked the tide times and saw that high tide was still a way off, so we parked at West Beach and did the walk in reverse. That way, we could enjoy the beach while it was at its widest and, as it turned out, sandiest. It was a lovely walk along the exposed sand and through fields lit up with bright yellow flowers.

This sign did make me wonder – what story had unfolded that made it necessary?
