Today’s walk: Chelwood Vachery
Sussex has been beautiful this week and we wanted to make the most of the sunshine by taking the dog out for a nice walk somewhere open. Richard suggested heading over to Ashdown Forest. I had a bit of a look around online and found a set of walks, including a few that seemed to be around a previously unvisited part of the Ashdown Forest.
So we headed off and followed this route through the landscape of Chelwood Vachery. It started off feeling like Ashdown Forest but we soon ended up in a woodland with ponds and streams, and a folly bridge. A lovely walk and one that we’ll certainly be returning to when summer rolls around and we’re in need of walks featuring water to help keep Breezy cool.
