Today I discovered that there is an Ashdown Forest visitor centre. How it had hidden so well, I don’t know, but we visited today and picked up a couple of walking guide leaflets while we were there. We ended up combining two of them into our afternoon walk: Broadstone Amble and Tabell Ghyll. Both offered great views, and we felt much higher up than we usually do in the Forest. Plus, the stream on the Tabell Ghyll route was lovely to walk alongside.
