This was a merging of two recipes from the National Trust scone book. The inspiration was Stilton and cranberry, and Goat’s cheese, pear and walnut because I had some leftover stilton in the fridge and some walnuts in my cupboard.

Note to self: I took the cheese quantities from the Stilton and cranberry recipe and the walnut quantity from the Goat’s cheese, pear and walnut recipe. And they’ve come out great.
