A short story found as part of Amazon Prime’s Reading library and chosen because I’ve read the author’s non-fiction work. Read in one sitting in an evening. A nice exploration of how a difficult situation gets handled. Still had the same annoyance as usual with short stories - that by nature of being short I don’t get involved with the characters and immersed into their world. Instead I’m an outsider.
