Book review: There Is No Good Card for This: What To Say and Do When Life Is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love by Kelsey Crowe
Rating: 5 out of 5
I started this book when on holiday in February and then shelved it as “to finish sometime”. When a friend started going through some bad times I remembered this book and determined to read the rest of it. Immediately. It is brilliant. And gives me the confidence to reach out and walk with my friend in her time of need, to show up and be there. At the very least the cheat sheet of questions to ask and, possibly more important, not ask should be mandatory reading for every human.
