I read “The Salt path” a year or so ago and found it a fascinating read - both the personal aspects but also the descriptive qualities. This book is similarly engaging. It has vignettes of different times in Raynor’s life as well as a difficult walking adventure in Iceland. All the way through there remains the common theme of nature, of the call of nature, of belonging with nature. Lovely.
