Well I wouldn’t like to meet any of the Butler family in a dark alley. Or maybe even a well lit one. A great story revolving around an East End London family. It skipped time periods on two occasions and I found myself regretting that I hadn’t been around in those intervening years. Great characters. Some very descriptive passages. Lots of involvement. Enjoyed.
