A great backdrop to a story - the heroes working away breaking codes at Bletchley Park - with an array of characters who I found myself thinking about when I’d put the book down. I stayed awake long after I should have been sleeping to find out what happened at the end. I especially enjoyed some of the thought processes and considering how difficult it was for some of the code breakers - especially the men - to explain why they weren’t in uniform to other people, and the stresses that it must have brought to many a relationship to never quite to be able to be fully truthful.
