This walk took place in the 1970s. I wonder what would be different and what the same now. I want to return to Japan one day having passed a wonderful 50 hours in Tokyo on the way back from Sydney 10 or so years ago. But I don’t think I’ll walk from end to end. Nor do I want to feel quite so conspicuous. An interesting journey.
