My first Richard Powers book and what I appreciated first of all was the amount of research that must have gone into this. I struggled a little at the beginning to keep the characters straight in my head but by about half way through I’d got them all in the right place. An interesting book. Different to most novels I’ve read before. Very moving and thought provoking.
