This has been on my book shelf for a couple of years. It’s sheer size had put me off. It’s a wonderful size for viewing photos but needs a strong reader. Before looking at this I hadn’t realised the breadth of Beaton’s involvement with the arts. I knew about the portrait photography. But I didn’t know about the set design, costume design, even acting. Obviously some great photography in this, but also sketches and costumes.
