Book review: The Museum of Ordinary People by Mike Gayle
Rating: 5 out of 5
It feels like quite some time since a novel has kept me reading until well past my bedtime but this one has. I loved they premise of a museum of ordinary people. And I enjoyed spending time with the characters as the story unfolded reading “just one more chapter” to find out a little bit more.
As an only child who had to empty the family home I could empathise with much of Jess’s feelings as she does the same. And I know that there are things in my loft which I brought back which were precious to my family but don’t really suit my tastes!
