This was an impulse but based on it being a 99p kindle offer and a recommendation from them based on another book I was looking at. My to-read list has quite a lot on it, but a lot of it is quite serious. And right now the world is feeling pretty serious and I wanted to escape for a bit. This was a perfect escape book. Great characters who we get to know c more about as the story progresses. A great central character who I cared for and rooted for.
