I have found this a really interesting biography of Philip Larkin using his photographs, as well as his writings, as checkpoints. I’ve been reading https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9763867 at the same time. So when a poem got a mention in the photography book I looked it up and read it in the Martin Amis selection. A great way, for me, to get the context of some of the work
