Book review: The Girl With No Past by Kathryn Croft
Rating: 3 out of 5
Hmm, I was a bit disappointed. But I also felt a bit manipulated into reading this. It was a page turner. But didn’t feel like it ever really engaged me. I guess I didn’t like the characters that much, and it didn’t resolve itself.
Highlighted passages:
Home was not just a title for where you slept, it was meant to be somewhere that comforted you, not just the house but the whole town or city. A place where memories were built and cherished.
mature friendships don’t need to be based on listening to the same music or liking the same clothes. Our shared experience is a much firmer base than that.
