As there was no Burning the Clocks procession this year, we instead celebrated reaching the shortest day by following the Burning the clocks lantern trail. It’s a trail of 12 lanterns in various shop windows around the North Laine and Lanes. The clues vary from easy to quite cryptic - I suspect it helps if you know the names of shops in the area, but each one has a street name to work from so the worst case is you walk up and down the street until you find something glowing in the window of a shop somewhere. A lovely way to spend an hour or so.
