Book review: The Black Book of Colors by Menena Cottin
Rating: 5 out of 5
This is beautiful, in a thoughtful way. Other reviewers have said that the braille isn’t deep enough to be easily legible, but it gives an idea of how the alphabet works (helpfully included at the back of the book). The embossed imagery is great and the words all help to make me be able to imagine how colours work if you’re blind. Makes me realise that my fingertips are blunt instruments and would need to be tuned to actually read this way properly.
