Friday evening took us to the Brighton Bird & Blend store for a Tea blending and tasting workshop. At first, we wondered what we’d learn in 2.5 hours, but the time flew by—likely helped by some tea-infused cocktails! It was an interesting and really fun evening.

I’ve been a Bird & Blend fan since Richard gifted me some of their tea for my 50th birthday. My favorite, the Roobius Breakfast Cuppa, is always close at hand beside the kettle.

I left with a Caffeine-free Tea Advent calendar, a new-to-me Toffee chai tea and a complimentary packet of Brighton Rock tea, which they used in one of the cocktails. We also brought home a Cold Brew tea bottle to kick off some tea experiments at home, though I doubt I’ll be making tea-infused cocktails anytime soon!
