We drove cross-country from Margate back to Brighton as without the motorways we can do it in a single charge, with battery to spare, even in winter. On our way home we stopped off at Sissinghurst Castle Gardens for a leg stretch, and a cup of tea and a slice of cake. A beautiful place to break the journey.
