I wanted a mini-adventure. So I took the train to Brighton and walked home. The first mile or two wasn’t very exciting as I was basically walking past warehouses. But then I got over the lock gates and onto the sea side of the harbour. Industry on one side. Sea on the other. A little bit of Brighton Festival’s Points of Departure spotted. Some art made out of found items between the two. A bit of street art. And I even picked up ice cream from Gelato Gusto at Rockwater on the way home. A lovely walk. And another 7 miles added to my (virtual) Lands End to John O’Groats walk.
