Walking towards Northdown Road from the Margate seafront in search of breakfast, we passed this vibrant and fun piece of art. Looking up the name Postgate stage we discovered it’s a stop-motion animation studio - a lovely hat tip to Oliver Postgate, who, as the website notes, was from Kent.

The mural is by David Shillinglaw, part of the Rise Up Residency. We’ve spotted a few of theirs over the years - we walked past this one and this one on our way back to the house.
