People don’t care what you know until they know that you care

I love this. In this context it was about doctors, vets and other medical professionals sounding impressive with jargon and knowledge but not showing that they care about the patient. And so not winning the trust of the patient. I’ve definitely been in situations where it’s been all about terminology rather than caring. Showing you care is so important in all professions.
