I hadn’t come across this brand of walking guides before and while the walls themselves were similar to other guidebooks I had for North Devon I really liked the map based format. The instructions were clear and the guide easy to transport and robust enough to be stuffed in to pockets of bags.

4 stars over 5 as I noticed a few errors. Nothing that would get anyone lost, bit confusing none the less - a pub named wrongly in the wordy description (but correct on the map), an incorrect parking place name (again correct on the map)
