I’m a kickstarter backer of Jordan’s Wollstonecraft project, and as a result, was pointed towards this novella as a free download. It’s a nice interweaving of fiction around real characters/events although I’m still not 100% sure I know what all the 4 strands to the story’s purpose was.

Unfortunately, I’m a pedantic reader, and spot grammar mistakes or words missing and find that it distracts from my enjoyment of the story. There were so many in this story that by 25% of the way through the book I started highlighting them (I was reading it on my kindle). By the time I finished the book I’d counted 19 - from “to” when it should have been “too”, to missing words etc

Highlighted passages:

Blake feared Her Majesty’s army was in grave danger of running out of adjectives, and found the matter somewhat inauspicious-until he turned to discover the Auspicious immediately behind him.

the sky danced in a display of colour in a band along the horizon, with a deep indigo canopy peppered with eerily bright white stars. From their vantage point some two thousand feet above ground, the apparition straddled the curve of the earth, dozens of miles across.
