Rating: 4 out of 5

Read during lockdown due to Coronavirus. This has been on my bookshelf since the end of last year and I felt now, having had some, but by no means all, of my freedom curbed temporarily was a great time you read this. I was right.

The first part, the autobiography, was an incredible read. The horrors and the hope depicted simply.

The second and third parts, the more technical aspects of logotherapy were harder work but written well enough that I could glean some understanding of his work.

Highlighted passages:

What matters is to make the best of any given situation

The world is in a bad state, but everything will become still worse unless each of us does his best
