I don’t remember the last book that I shed this many tears over. I bought it for Richard as a birthday present. He read it over a couple of days. And then I did the same. It’s really well drawn and written. And I found it an incredibly emotional read. I’m not sure how much of that is because I’m the owner of a rescued ex-stray terrier type dog and so I see similarities between Laika and my own dog. And how much is just because it’s sad.

It is excellent. And I would recommend it. Just be prepared to shed a few tears.
