Jane being christened

In October 1972 I was christened at St Nicholas Church, Hull. Nothing much different to everybody else there then. Every Sunday, from what I gather, BBC Radio Humberside chose a church to broadcast from as part of their ‘United Acts of Worship’ programme. The day they turned up at my family church, St Nicholas in Hull, was my christening day. So they broadcast that as well. So, I was christened live on local radio.

As part of the process, they took some lovely photos, which I have, and handed Mum and Dad a cassette, which I have.
