I’ve had a kindle since Christmas 2010.

They seem to last me about 8 years at a time as I found out when preparing to trade the Oasis in that I got the second one for Christmas 2018.

If the charging socket hadn’t stopped working, I wouldn’t have been replacing it. But it did. So I have. I chose the smallest, most basic model. I don’t need a colour screen or a larger display. I love that it fits into most of my bags.

This is my first Kindle without physical buttons. It’s also a gorgeous green colour – the photos above and below are a better representation of it. So far, it feels very similar to the last one. And that’s probably a good thing.
