Book review: Into the Tangled Bank: In Which Our Author Ventures Outdoors to Consider the British in Nature by Lev Parikian
Rating: 4 out of 5
An easy and gentle read. The reader doesn’t need to be well versed in scientific knowledge to appreciate it. There are moments of humous. And lots of footnotes, most of which are there for the sake of humour - a little like Terry Pritchett used to do in the discworld novels. I enjoyed this. I don’t know much more about anything for reading it, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
