Book review: H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald
Rating: 4 out of 5
An interesting book. Unlike anything I’ve read in a while. Partly about her grief for her Dad. Partly about training a goshawk. Some aspects of her grief are beautifully expressed with beautiful wording. And I had tears rolling down my face at one point. I can see why it ended up on so many “book of the year” lists for 2015.
