A good holiday reading choice as I was able to read lots of chapters about lots of different characters quickly and keep them in mind so that I recognised them when they appeared in a different characters chapter. It’s a series of linked character studies I guess. I did have difficulty keeping them all straight in my head - too many characters for me. None of whom I particularly liked. Beautifully written tho
