After many years of meaning to visit at some time other than autumn we managed it today. It was much quieter than we usually see it. We had some beautiful blue sky sunshine.

And some hail.

Quite the combination. We were a bit early for the full bluebell display but we got an idea of what it would look like. It was nice to see the place with blossoming trees changing the colour palette from the oranges and reds of autumn to whites and pinks.
